Friday Faves from All Y'all Need: Oct. 4

From Amy:
Happy Friday!
This week Austin has been honoring Texas legend, James Street.     Former UT Quarterback James Street passed away suddenly this week.    Prayers of comfort for his family abound.    Do you recognize the other Texas legends in this photo?    Coach Darrell Royal and President Lyndon Johnson.
I am looking forward to the return of Broadway Across America theater season.   It kicks off with a gigantic Austin debut!    Yes, I am headed on Saturday night to see The Book of Mormon.    Mostly, I am looking forward to seeing my two dear friends I have season tickets with.     We started with our theater season tickets about 16 years ago!
And how about some positive thoughts?   I hope to get Spiders: Facts and Opinions put together tomorrow to be ready to use with the sweeties soon.   It needs a little trip to the laminator and a visit from the Scissor Fairy.
From Laura:

It's been a little stressful with this being the end of the six weeks, which means I have to have all of my ARDs (IEPs) processed on a new system. So it was nice to get away this weekend, and for the first time ever, I used Hotwire. We got two very nice rooms at the Royal Sonesta.
We cheered for the hapless Astros among tons of Yankees fans in Houston and saw Mariano Rivera in his last time in uniform.
And on Monday, we watched the season premiere of Once Upon a Time. I loved Season 1, not as much with Season 2, but the opener for Season 3 looks very promising!
