Friday Faves from All Y'all Need

From All Y'all Need, picks from Amy, Laura and Lisa!

First up is Amy with a picture of 1 1/2 pound boxes of candy. Only in Las Vegas!
Also from Amy, a darling student in a darling Valentine get-up. Face blurred for confidentiality.
Laura was humbled to be honored at the annual pink-and-white game among the three middle schools here. Girls' basketball players get sponsors to buy shirts In Honor Of, In Memory Of, or Cancer Survivors for the Robert S. Love Foundation. There were three shirts from my family, two for me and one for my mom, a cancer survivor. The event raised over $10,000! My daughter wore a shirt for her grandmother the past two years. It was a little weird to see my name on the back of a shirt.

It's been a crazy week with benchmark testing, Valentine parties, and schedule changes. Which all leads me to:

Fancy Friday Fave #1

Here is a picture of  Fancy Nancy for my "Ooh La La Word Wall." A dear friend of ALL Y'all Need painted this for me. Isn't she adorable?!?!  I can't wait to put her in my classroom! My kids will love it!

Friday Fave #2
I love the month of February. I love the fact that everything is bright, happy, and PINK. In case you haven't noticed, "pink is my signature color." I tend to have a few shopping sprees during February. :) Yesterday, we had our classroom Valentine party. At our school, we have classroom only Valentine parties. It is truly a wonderful day to spend with your kiddos. I just love seeing my little kinder kuties give and receive Valentines. This year, I did things a little differently. I taped plastic table cloths on the floor and we had a Valentine picnic. The kids absolutely loved it! I will be doing this from now on. One of my sweeties said, "Miss F, we should do this every day!"

So here's my V day faves:
1. Classroom picnic
2. Glitter heart shaped glasses
 3.Cute and crafty Valentine boxes.

I love making things with people I love. Valentine boxes have definitely been upgraded since I went to school.
