Notes: I was skeptical about the vanilla bean paste since it's more than $8 per bottle! It turned out worth it, and I will use it more. The M&Ms were cute, but they don't stick well to the cookie. I was in a hurry and just bought Dove squares, but the original hearts are much cuter for Valentine's Day. The squares would work with sprinkles for other holidays, though.
