A Review of Flip Flap Listening Comprehension from Speech2U!

Have you met Kelly over at Speech2U? If not, head on over pronto! She is fabulous, creative and funny! I was excited when she offered me a copy of Flip Flap Listening Comprehension.

Kelly gives detailed instructions with photos to show how to put together and use the books. She provides paragraphs for listening comprehension. Targets in the Flip Flap Book are Wh- questions, and the cues are nice. They come with and without visuals, so it's easy to adapt to different grade levels.

The paragraph cards are broken up with movement cards. In therapy, this is what the Flip Flap Book looks like:

And the icing? Kelly includes a list of questions and directions for home! Parents can have something concrete to help them work with their child at home. I love that part!
