SLP Link Up for September 2013!

This month's link up for SLPs has a fall theme with football and an apple. It's wishful thinking on my part because we are still hitting 100+ degree days here in Texas! Fall is my favorite season, but I really don't see much of it, so I use fall things whenever possible!

To participate, fill in the blank spots with your information. The easiest way I have found is to take a screen shot, upload the screen shot to Picmonkey, and then add text. Here's what's going on with me this month:

School-ing: Our district has hit the milestone student population of 10,000! A new elementary opened last week, and a new one is being built. But the big news? Our admin is actually starting to talk about the real possibility of opening a second high school. There are lots of feelings and opinions about this.

Excited about: This is my son's last year in the Marching 100 because he's a senior. A little bittersweet. And my daughter is playing volleyball, so I'm learning about digs and kills.

Prepping: Oh my heavens! Tons of stuff! Did you go shopping at the TpT BTS sale? I did, but on my immediate list to print and laminate is Fall Ask Away, There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Books by Figuratively Speeching, and a huge /s/ packet by Twin Sisters Speech/Language Therapy.

Trying: After being at one school for a couple of years, I'm now at two elementaries. I have to be more organized in what I need for therapy because I don't have a familiarity with my new room yet, which is at the new school, and I'm still stocking it. I'm looking at buying a car, and back-seat room and trunk space have just become more important!
